Grade-level groupings at Trinity Heights
Prompted by the new age level groupings in the Newton Elementary and Middle Schools, the Christian Education Ministry Area considered groupings for our elementary and middle school youth here at Trinity Heights. After several months of discussion which included checking with other churches in Newton, the Christian Education committee decided that "due to the fluctuation in numbers of various grade-levels, our age groupings at Trinity Heights would be determined year-to-year, based on what makes the most sense for the educational and social environment of our faith community."
Age-groups for Fall Sunday School (beginning September 12):
Age 3 to Kindergarten
First Grade
2nd through 4th grade
5th through 8th grade
9th though 12th grade
Thank you for your ongoing support of our Christian Education endeavors!
